Google has just announced a new application of Google Assistant aiming to help business professionals reaching their destination easier and more quickly, the ability to order ride-sharing options and taxis. Without even pressing a button businessmen can get a ride to the airport or navigate through a new city saving precious time.
The only necessary accessory is now on their Android phone, I-phone, Google home or smart speaker with Google Assistant. User can say phrases like ‘’Hey Google, book a ride to the airport’’ and he will immediately have access to a list of rides provided by the most popular ride service companies like Uber, Grab etc, to choose from.
Additional information like price or estimated waiting time are also available making the decision easier. Users can also specify which service company they prefer eg. ‘’Google, get me an Uber to city center’’. When Google Assistant accumulates the desired options, user should just confirm using his phone.
The application will first released in English and to all those countries where the partnered service companies operate but Google plans to enrich it with more languages within the next months.
