The seminars organized for the first time as part of the Third FOOD EXPO, were completed with great success. The exhibition was held between 19 and 21 March at the Metropolitan Exhibition Centre and hosted a series of major short-term seminars with substantial interest for Greek producers, retailers, distributors and organized retailers. A series of economic and commercial topics were covered which aimed at the further training and information of managers and entrepreneurs.
The CEO of DK Consultants, Mr. Dimitris Karavasilis, was the speaker of the seminar “Consumer Trends in the Greek and international markets.” During his speech, Mr. Karavassilis referred in particular to consumer information resources in the modern age, consumer trends, demographics and dietary patterns around the world that stimulate the economy, such as consumers over 65 years old (Silver consumers) and the healthy living trend and he finally analysed the current global food trends.
