Beijing started a month-long inspection of its 66,000 taxis aimed at polishing its image as the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games approaches, state media reported. Beijing has launched a number of etiquette drives in recent months in a bid to improve the manners and hygiene of public servants, taxi drivers and common citizens.
