It\u2019s about people saying, \u2018I want equality and deserve equality.\u2019 It\u2019s about asking people to be empathetic to our experiences, and to understand what we\u2019re going through, so that you can join our fight. I mean, we just saw yesterday where the Supreme Court finally said, \u2018Yeah, we can\u2019t fire you because you\u2019re gay.\u2019 I want people to think about that. Yesterday, people finally said, \u2018We can\u2019t fire you because you\u2019re gay.\u2019 That means that we should still be in a space of understanding. That as we\u2019re going to Pride and we\u2019re celebrating where we\u2019ve come from, we\u2019re also educating ourselves on where we need to go and having empathy as allies and as members of the community ourselves, and continuing to try to stride and fight.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adweek.com\/digital\/linkedin-updates-its-plans-to-take-on-racial-inequality\/\">LinkedIn Learning<\/a> path on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/learning\/paths\/diversity-inclusion-and-belonging-for-all?trk=lilblog_06-03-20_diversity-inclusion-learning-path-cQ420v_learning\">Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging for All<\/a> is available free-of-charge through Aug. 31.
