In fact, <strong>convenience and ease of use is the top priority of prospective buyers in the final purchasing decision.<\/strong><!--more--><br \/>\nThe <strong>features<\/strong> that c<strong>onsumer-friendly packaging should include<\/strong> are as follows:<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-332 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dkmarketing.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Packaging2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"100\" height=\"113\" \/><br \/>\n<strong>\u2022 Ease of transport<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> \u2022 Check the spill of their contents<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> \u2022 Control of the intake<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> \u2022 Simplify the preparation process of the food<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> \u2022 Incorporating mechanisms that facilitate opening and closing as well as content removal.<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-333 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dkmarketing.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Packaging3.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"208\" height=\"117\" \/><\/strong><br \/>\nAs a result, more and more <strong>manufacturers of food and beverage packaging,<\/strong> responding to consumer needs for convenience and ease of use and consumption, <strong>are developing innovative packaging that incorporates the above properties.<\/strong> <strong>A form of packaging that is particularly popular with consumers and brands of beverages and food &#8211; especially snacks &#8211; is plastic pouches due to light weight and the impressive graphics, messages and logos that can be illustrated on them, helping to enhance brand identity and differentiation on the shelf.<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-334 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dkmarketing.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Packaging4.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"231\" height=\"141\" \/><\/strong><br \/>\nAn illustrative example is the <strong>lightweight plastic pouch package which consists of two parts,<\/strong> <strong>the upper portion<\/strong> which <strong>incorporates a fork<\/strong> and <strong>the lower part<\/strong> which <strong>includes the foodstuff.<\/strong> In fact, <strong>the upper part is removed, whereas the bottom once opened can be turned into a bowl, facilitating food consumption and avoiding spilling problems.<\/strong>\u00a0This packaging has <strong>a low ecological footprint, is durable and keeps the food fresh,<\/strong> reducing the risk of spoilage, while<strong> its surface can be decorated with graphic elements, attracting the attention of consumers.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>The cylindrical plastic packaging<\/strong> <strong>that looks like a small cup is pioneering.<\/strong> It includes <strong>three <img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-335 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dkmarketing.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Packaging5.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"271\" height=\"96\" \/>small flexible pouches, a rectangular instruction card and a wooden spoon.<\/strong> More specifically, once opened, <strong>the consumer removes the contents of the pouches and blends it into the bowl using the spoon.<\/strong> In addition, its surface incorporates <strong>high-resolution graphics to enhance brand image.<\/strong> This packaging was used by an American company to produce healthy food for fresh humus products, <strong>aiming to offer an effective solution to customers who wish to eat healthy meals in an easy way.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>An additional<\/strong> intriguing solution is <strong>the square metal jar with a red plastic cylindrical lid (made of flip-top polypropylene),<\/strong> which incorporates <strong>two different opening and closing <img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-336 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dkmarketing.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Packaging6.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"137\" \/>mechanisms.<\/strong> In particular, <strong>one mechanism permits direct spillage of the contents into the dish,<\/strong> while <strong>the other allows the use of a spoon to consume a portion thereof.<\/strong> On its outer surface there is <strong>a label decorated with stylish graphic elements to stand out on the shelf,<\/strong> while <strong>on its front it includes a transparent window, allowing shoppers to see the content with a naked eye.<\/strong> This packaging was used by a US-based producer of nuts to meet <strong>the consumer&#8217;s needs for easy-to-use packaging that will facilitate the consumption of healthy snacks and meals as well as desserts.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Ease of use is therefore a primary factor in choosing food and beverage packages for consumers because of their busy lifestyle.
